Rio 2016: For Atlas Bronze its more than just the Metal in the Medals!

We have a lot more to be excited about here at Atlas Bronze than just the Bronze that is in the Olympic Medals. One of our very own, Christine Frank, VP of Operations has a family member who is competing in this years Summer Olympics in Rio.

His name is Glenn Ochal and he is on the U.S. Men's 8 Man Rowing Team. Glenn started his Rowing career in 2001 at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pa. After high school he went on to compete at a collegiate level at Princeton University. He is a 10-time national team athlete. Glenn was also named U.S. Rowing’s 2012 Athlete of the Year and recently won gold in the four at the 2015 World Rowing Cup II.

 This Saturday at 10:24 a.m., he will be competing in the Rowing Men's Eight Final A for the Gold Medal! Glenn is no stranger to the Olympic podium. Just four short years ago, he and his team won the Bronze Medal in the Coxless Four at the 2012 London Summer Olympics.
